A workshop on Pentavalent vaccine was held for district m agistrates of West Bengal on December 5, 2014 in Kolkata. Nagrik Foundation provided its V-SAT technology for connecting the officials with senior journalist Pankaj Pachauri in Delhi.
Pentavalent Vaccine is part of the National Immunization Programme of the Government of India and is a protection against life crippling diseases. The workshop focused on improving media’s focus on this life-saving vaccine and strategies to improve its acceptance at the local level.
