IOD Foundation organized its 4th Free Medical Health Check-up Camp & Medical Equipment Distribution Drive at Earth Saviours Foundation Gurugram for Underprivileged Category supported & CSR Initiative by GAIL India Ltd

Gurugram: IOD Foundation in association with Suvidha Bio Foundation organized its 4th Free Medical Health Check-up camp & Medical Equipment Distribution drive (Medical Bed & Wheel Chair) at Earth Saviours Foundation Gurugram on Sunday, March 06th, 2022, supported and CSR initiative by GAIL India Ltd.

Shri Rajeev Ranjan, IAS, Commissioner, Gurugram, Govt. of Haryana was the chief guest and Shri Deepak Dwivedi, Chairman, Editor-In-Chief, Blitz India was the Guest of Honour and inaugurated the Medical Camp & Distribution of Medical Equipment. Mr Reji Mathew, Secretary General, IOD Foundation delivered the opening remarks of the function, Welcome address delivered by Shri Jas Kalra President, The Earth Saviours Foundation and Special Remarks by Shri Pradeep Chaturvedi, Vice President, IOD Foundation, Shri Abhay Khanna, IRAS , Vice President, Suvidha Bio Foundation & Vote of thanks by Rtn. Sandeep Saxena, VP Rotary Club Gurgaon Passion Rotary International.

The Earth Saviours Foundation daily activities and functions comprising an old age home, home for deprived women and a center for the differently-abled. They have a large community of senior citizen, mentally disabled and bedridden citizens (between the ages of 18 – 70 years) along with the socially and financially deprived people. They have more than 375 such communities sheltered at the same place.

Mr Reji Mathew, Secretary General, IOD Foundation said that our dedicated volunteers are committed to do our continued efforts to reach out the maximum people for the benefit of underprivileged .We are also planning to do the skill development programs for the financially weakened section in future . He has requested everyone to support for this noble cause and join hand together for the brighter future for everyone.

The specialized doctors from Eye, ENT, Dentists, General Physicians, Homeopathy, General Medicine & Pain diagnosed the patients. Free medicines and refreshments were also distributed. Health awareness program was also part of this camp. More than 375 people from the shelter were benefited through this camp. Medical camp was conducted under all Covid-19 protocols.

Medical support Equipment’s (wheelchairs & medical beds) were also distributed to the disabled people was one of the highlight of this program. 50 physically challenged people were benefited through this initiative. Number of Social organizations were associated and voluntarily supported to this program namely ActionAid India Association, Nagrik Foundation & Chronic Pain India etc.

IOD Foundation has been doing multiple activities to help the underprivileged during these difficult times of Covid-19. They organized multiples such activities in Delhi & NCR regularly.
