IOD Foundation in association with Nagrik Foundation, ActionAid supported by The Akshaya Patra Foundation provided Food in different parts of Delhi.
This initiative has been provided in 3 locations of Delhi – AIIMS, Govind Puri and Sangam Vihar. these free services will benefitmore than 1000 people in the areas of Delhi and will be continued for few weeks during these difficult times amid the pandemic.
IOD Foundation volunteers Poonam Gosain, Arvind Lohia and Prabhat Kumar Das and Mihir Singh along with support of friends from AkshayaPatra Foundationparticipated and handled this on ground distribution .
Three Social Foundations IOD Foundation, Nagrik Foundation and ActionAid Association have joined hands to pool together their competencies and serve the common man in this difficult period of COVID pandemic – Sandeep Chachra ED ActionAid Association .
The three organisations have committed to provide quality services for social development and bring in unique strengths to provide all assistance in relief, settlement, healthcare, education, skills development and livelihoods.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Reji Mathew, Secretary General of IOD Foundation said that “Today this has been possible with the collective effort of Akshaya Patra Foundation, Nagrik Foundation and ActionAid Association .
We have aimed to use our expertise and knowledge to support the needy communities on their basic requirements.We are committed to this support to people in need& operate through our strategic initiatives and programs on ground .We are deeply committed to continue to create long-lasting impact in these communities.
