The event of UNICEF-AROI Radio 4 Child Awards ceremony held on September 7, 2015 in Mumbai was aired in Hardoi (Uttar Pradesh) using V-SAT technology of Nagrik Foundation. Nearly 33 journalists from 12 districts were linked up with the awards programme. Many journalists had the opportunity to interact with Ms. Madhuri Dixit, actor and UNICEF Celebrity Ambassador on the importance of Routine Immunization. The event was attended by other high level district officials including the District Magistrate, Hardoi, who gave a public commitment for making Hardoi 100% aware on immunization while interacting in with Ms. Madhuri Dixit.
